Our Story

Fula Africa was founded with a vision to address the growing human trafficking crisis in Southern Africa. Initially starting as a grassroots organization, it has grown into a trusted leader in the fight against modern slavery.

Key Milestones:

  • 2017: Published the Wamama Chronicles with the support of UNODC, bringing survivor stories to light and raising awareness about trafficking.
  • 2018: Expanded awareness campaigns to rural Malawi, reaching vulnerable communities with education and resources.
  • 2024: Collaborated on the documentary Trafficked: Bus Ride from Hell, which highlighted the ease of human trafficking across borders.

Fula Africa’s journey continues as we amplify our efforts to disrupt trafficking networks, support survivors, and educate communities.
